This year we thought we would highlight some key social justice issues in the lead-up to the elections.
SPOTLIGHT ON SOCIAL JUSTICE: Child Poverty in New Zealand with Mike O'Brien from The Child Poverty Action Group.

Join us to hear Mike O'Briend from the Child Poverty Action Group speak on the subject of Child Poverty in NZ: its causes, its effects and what we can do about it as a society.

SPOTLIGHT ON SOCIAL JUSTICE: The Treaty of Waitangi
Saturday 17th June 10am-3.30pm.
Join us for a Treaty of Waitangi workshop presented by Dr Susan Healy. Susan has a doctorate in Maori Studies from The University of Auckland.
COST: KOHA. Please bring your own lunch. Coffee, tea and a selection of herbal teas will be provided.
SPOTLIGHT ON SOCIAL JUSTICE: Homelessness with Chris Farrelly, Auckland City Missioner.
Thursday 6th July7-8.30pm
Join us to hear Chris Farrelly, the Auckland City Missioner talk to us about homelessness: it's causes, effects and what we can do about it personally and as a society.
COST: KOHA (All Koha from tonight's talk will go to The Auckland City Mission).
