HISTORY
Founded in the aftermath of World War II - Pax Christi is the International Catholic movement for peace and justice. Pax Christi is active in many areas of worldwide concern such as:
Human Rights & East West ContactDemilitarisation & Arms TradeIntegrity of CreationEconomic Justice & DevelopmentFaith, Dialogue & ReconciliationAlternatives to ViolencePeace & SpiritualityPeace Education and Youth Forum
What we can do:
  • Deepen your spirituality of peace.
  • Keep informed on current issues of peace & justice at home and abroad.
  • Provide a multi-level response to issues of conflict based on understanding, reflection, prayer and action.
  • Link you into a highly respected international, Catholic, ecumenical and interfaith movement for peace and justice.
What you can do:
  • Join or form a local Pax Christi group in your parish/community/workplace/school.
  • Support our work through donation/prayer/information.
  • Share with us the work of other peace groups you are involved with.
  • Volunteer as a travelling ambassador to take personal greetings to Pax Christi sections throughout the world.
